The tooth roller crusher is equipped with two crushing rollers. Depending on the user’s required particle size, the roller surfaces come in two types: flat and hard-faced. The flat-roller model is suitable for fine crushing operations where the feed size is less than 80 mm and the finished product size is required to be 1–10 mm. The models with hard-faced rollers are suitable for medium-to-fine crushing operations where the feed size is less than 60 mm and the finished product size is required to be 5–30 mm.
If the compressive strength of the material exceeds 250 MPa, it is recommended to select an energy-efficient roller press (grinder). Depending on user requirements, this equipment is available in two drive configurations: V-belt drive and coupling drive (rigid connection). In mining operations where electricity is unavailable, this equipment can be powered by a diesel or gasoline engine.
